Angela Petlow, ARNP - FNP
Women’s Health Provider
Meet Angela petlow, a family nurse practitioner that loves being a part of the seattle women’s and moms’ clinic team.
She was born and raised in Seattle, received her BA from the University of Washington, and her Masters in Nursing from Seattle University (where she met our clinic director, Lise Martin, ARNP) and became a family nurse practitioner. She has been a board certified advanced registered nurse practitioner (ARNP) for 10 years , and has spent most of her years as an ARNP in the family practice setting. She loves being able to apply the years in family practice and that depth of skill and knowledge to her women’s health patients, providing more thorough gynecological care. For years she had been searching for a professional home in women’s health and never could find the ideal clinical setting, until SWMC reached out to her for wonderful rapport with patients and advanced skills, knowing she would be an ideal fit for collaborating with Lise Martin’s, ARNP, unique care style. She finds working with the exceptional group at SWMC is inspiring and rewarding, complimenting her lifelong passion for women’s health, and plans to be with the clinic for many years to come.
She believes that we are all on a journey of wellness, and that our lives are unique compositions of experiences, genetics, beliefs, perceptions, and aspirations.
Having experienced the power of connection and support as quintessential elements of her own life, she knows the importance of having a compassionate, knowledgeable, and nurturing healthcare team.
She feels grateful to be a healthcare provider for women and believes this is a calling for her.
She views her patients as complex, unique, intuitive, and caring beings, and hopes to offer a space where individuals are heard, cared for, supported, nourished, and encouraged throughout their lives.
Aspiring to approach healthcare holistically, she encourages women to view their care from a physical, mental, psychological, and emotional perspective, and hopes to empower them to make healthy decisions that fit their unique lives.
