After 10+ years of dedicated experience and service in community mental health, JESSIE joinED the tight knit community of SWMC TO enhance access to mental health care FOR THE exceptional patient population WE HAVE HERe, as well as new patients seeking exceptional holistic care.
All patients welcome: current SWMC patients, as well as new patients to SWMC, including men, are welcome to schedule.
Jessie was inspired by the unique collective of hard working individuals seeking to be the best version of themselves at SWMC. She is passionate about improving access to mental health care/treatment and providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
ABOUT JESSIE
Jessie was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest (on Whidbey Island), completed her undergraduate studies at Willamette University, and then graduated with her Masters in Nursing from Seattle University as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), with a passion and commitment for mental health.
As a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, the last 11 years she has been managing complex patient care/medication management at a community health clinic. Prior to that, she worked at Fairfax psychiatric hospital as a RN (registered nurse) for over 2 years, in the capacity of a charge nurse, as well as leading client education and counseling groups.

Jessie has extensive experience diagnosing and treating mood, behavioral, and psychotic disorders.
She is available for:

She works to educate and inform her patients on their condition(s)/diagnosis.

Jessie believes that medications often work best in conjunction with other treatment modalities, like counseling/therapy. She enjoys providing psychoeducation and discussing lifestyle factors that can impact mental health including nutrition, exercise, sleep hygiene, coping strategies, and relaxation techniques. Jessie tries to incorporate these into her own life and enjoys running, traveling, reading, and sleeping in (when it’s her husband’s turn to get up with their two young amazing children).
